Dedicated to the Lord

Isaiah 49:15-16 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands."

We always knew that Amelia belongs to God and she is a gift. So on Sunday May 3rd we acknowledged that publicly. We are so grateful for our daughter and thank the Lord for answering our many years of prayer. Even though we love her to bits, we know that we are going to make lots of mistakes as parents. We need God, our church community and our extended family. We promised to raise her as best we can and Grandma Ann, Chuck, Grandpa Brion, Great-Uncle Roger, Aunt Emily, Great-Grandma Franny, Cousin Fia, Cousin Kelby, Grandpa Bill, Aunt Jane, Mark, Sharon, Evie Foley, and the entire New Covenant Fellowship promised to help us. We felt very loved and supported. The presence of the Lord was palpable. It was a beautiful day.
