life with amelia gets better and better!

The hours we spent with a crying baby seem to be behind us, thank God! Amelia is usually fussy in the evenings but it isn't inconsolable crying and it doesn't last until 2am. Wednesdays and Sundays Seth has youth group and those days can be long for me (Laura) so those are bath nights. Amelia has always loved the water. One nurse in the NICU said in 7 years working there she never had a preemie so enjoy a bath as much as Amelia. Her sweet smile and chubby body make it my favorite thing to do with her!


















Today she was able to grab something fir the first time. Though still very uncoordinated Amelia was clearly pleased with herself and let out a coo (also new this week!). Oh the excitement we have in a day!


















The past week Amelia has also slept (during the night) for 5-6 hours without waking. Another big improvement although it isn't consistent yet.
