Vancouver
June 25-30 was equally blessed. We drove up to Vancouver to spend a few days basking in gorgeous weather and our wonderful friends, Chris and Julee (and Amelia's future husband, Sam). Everything was perfect. The weather, the parking spots, the Sunday at Marineview Chapel, the great chocolate pudding on Granville island, the pool across the street... Our friend who has the apartment across the hall from Chris and Julee was out of town and let us stay there. We had plenty of room and could put a monitor on our sleeping baby and spend the evening playing cards, liar's dice, and catching up with our pals. Chris celebrated his 30th birthday while we were there (which was fitting since he was with us in Hawaii for Seth's 30th). We couldn't have asked for more.
We took a ferry to Bowen Island for the day to visit our friend Trudy.
Amelia continued to be a trooper. She adjusted to yet another new place very well and was happy to spend her days hanging out with us, taking naps in her car seat, and blowing raspberries at restaurants. I know these days won't last. I think this was the perfect age for traveling. We could even nurse on the ferry boat. Gotta love the hooter hider!
