Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I am sure it will come as no surprise that no one is getting Christmas cards from us this year (not that we were ever very good at that). We didn't really do anything on Christmas or buy a single gift. Amelia was our big gift this year! Seth has been busier than usual with youth group Christmas party, new years party, and special advent services. Motherhood is a blessing but it is a bit isolating and I am in a fog of exhaustion (it does not help that Amelia spends half the night fussing and sleeps most of the day). With Amelia being a preemie we are paranoid about taking her out and have only gone to great grandma's apartment (pictured here) and to a her followup pediatrician appointment. She is in good health and gained a whole pound in the first 5 days of being home. We have no idea what she weighs now... maybe 8 or 9 pounds. She is a good eater and has mostly transitioned to breastfeeding. Still cute but loosing her hair and battling a case of baby acne and cradle cap. Stay tuned for more updates- next time I will attempt something more interesting or witty!
